This page lists every CZUR scanner we cover, grouped by what each does best. CZUR scanners all work the same basic way: a camera above the desk captures the page, and CZUR's software flattens curves, crops edges and runs OCR. The difference is in the details: book thickness, page size, resolution and extras such as foot pedals, HDMI output or a webcam mode.
Book scanners
Book scanners flatten the curve of an open spread and handle bound volumes without breaking the spine.
CZUR ET MAX. The most detailed CZUR scanner: 38MP, 410 dpi by default, A3 flat sheets and A4 books up to 50 mm thick, about 1.5 seconds per spread. HDMI output, 2.4 in screen, top and side lights, foot pedal and hand button. Exports to JPG, PDF, searchable PDF, Word, Excel and TIFF (converted from JPG). Best for libraries, archives, researchers and anyone scanning many thick books.
CZUR Aura Pro. Foldable: 14MP, scans material smaller than A3, about 2 seconds per page or spread. Foot pedal, side light, three laser lines and a 2-inch preview screen. Best for home book digitizing and anyone short on desk space.
Document scanners
Document scanners suit loose sheets, forms, receipts, drawings and single pages.
CZUR Shine800A3 Pro. 8MP with autofocus and an adjustable-height arm that reaches A3. 8MP (3280 × 2460), about 340 dpi at A4, about 245 dpi at A3, under a second per page, stepless top LED and foot pedal. Best for offices scanning A3 forms, plans and ledgers.
CZUR Lens800 Pro. Compact 8MP A4 scanner, about 270 dpi, about a second per page, automatic page-turn detection. Its base rotates so it doubles as a 1080p webcam with sound. Best for home offices, teachers and students.

What all four share
Each scanner works with CZUR's desktop software on a computer. CZUR lists OCR in more than 180 languages and searchable PDF export for the ET MAX, Shine800A3 Pro and Lens800 Pro. Each works best with even room lighting without strong glare on the page. All four scan from above, so you can capture objects, receipts and bound material that won't fit a sheet-fed scanner.

Before you buy
Check which computer you will connect the scanner to. CZUR lists Windows (XP/7/8/10/11), macOS 13+ on Apple Silicon and macOS 12+ on Intel Macs for the Aura Pro, and Windows XP/7 or later, macOS 13 or later on Apple Silicon and 12 or later on Intel Macs, and Ubuntu 20.04 to 24.04 for the ET MAX. The Shine800A3 Pro and Lens800 Pro list Windows XP/7 or later, macOS 13 or later on Apple Silicon and 12 or later on Intel Macs. Plan desk space for the base plus room around it to turn pages, and keep the scanner away from a window that throws direct sun on the page.
